This assignment was called "brick text," which is a perfect name for the picture. I like how it turned out because although you can not completely see the letters of my name, you are still able to read it while getting a fading effect.
For this assignment we were told to make a poster for a band, and had to do certain styles but with our own twist. I like how it turned out, but I think next time i would have used a different color for the text to give it a different effect. Everything else is grungy, even the text type, but the color does not seem to fit in.
This was a simple assignment with a couple of different effects. Although it was simple, I love how the picture turned out. I believe this photo was a perfect selection for the style, since the flowers have an awesome look to them along with the metal vases.
This was another simple assignment with a couple of effects. I think the picture is ok but there is nothing really special to it that makes me say "wow." I also wish the man's face on the left had not faded so much.
This was a very interesting assignment to do and I enjoyed it. We were supposed to make it sepia tone but I liked how the colors looked so I kept it the way it was. I love how it turned out and I honestly do not think I would change something about it.
Before the holidays, we had to make two cards, and this is one of the ones I made. I like how it looks a lot. My favorite part are the colorful stars in the background. I also think the font was perfect for the birthday theme.
This was another card that I had to make before the holidays. It is pretty simple, but it still gave the effect of looking formal and festive. I may have added a little more to the card if I were to do it again, though.
The class is coming to a close and these are the last two assignments we did. The first picture is a professional looking website. I think it came out well overall, but there are some things I would fix. First is the side bar, I dont like how there is white on both sides of the red top. Besides that, I believe it came out well.
This assignment was a less professional, "basic" web page. I like this one a lot. I like the two pictures on each side of the website, and the two contrasting colors. I don't think I would change anything.
